Bringing Saint Lucian Sensations to Toronto

Groceries Innovation Canada (GIC) is the grocery trade show to gain visibility from Canada’s top retailers, whether corporate, franchise or independent. Saint Lucia’s Trade Export Promotion Agency contracted Accela to help local manufacturers break into the Canadian export market.

Accela needed to help Saint Lucia stand out in a field of over 500 product exhibitors on a 100,000 square foot trade show floor. Accela came up with the theme “Satisfy Your Senses” and designed the booth to take attendees on a tour of their sense of sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing with some of Saint Lucia’s most tantalizing flavors, colorful foliage, luxurious and soothing skin products and of course our local music. The goal was to totally captivate all five senses the minute trade show attendees enter the booth and then charm them with the warm Saint Lucian reception.

Saint Lucia’s booth received positive PR, being judged second in the best booth competition.  The Spa products also received exposure on Global TV, Canada's second most-watched broadcast television network after CTV, which has twelve owned and operated stations throughout the country.
